To becoming part of your afternoon coffee company

Then, being included in the birth of your baby, and watching the growth of your family.

To being invited to special moments like Laela's first day of kindergarten.

And babysitting your kids, taking your family pictures, and capturing mini family moments.

Getting invited to be part of your family...

Being there when Brady got the bad news during a random game of skip-bo at 3pm in the afternoon was not something I anticipated.

Still, I witnessed many parts of your lives. From leaving for life-changing surgery, to bedtime devotions from the hospital over Zoom.

Having the honor to visit during Brady's short but bittersweet home visit during his 9 weeks in the hospital.

Saying goodbye was hard to watch, but it was an honor to be part of it.

However, being present for his return was a memory embedded into my heart for the rest of my life.

I have loved watching your new normal and being part of it

And spending time with you,

Capturing the moments I can,

Helping when I can,

And praying for you when things are tough,
